2023 KX450X Enduro Build/Impressions Pt.2
Welcome to part two of the KX450x impressions. After months spent riding and racing the green machine I've become very familiar with the bike and have updates on, well, everything!
2023 KX450X Enduro Build/Impressions Pt.1
2023 felt like the right year to bring on some change and excitement, and what better way to do that then to set aside the orange 350 four stroke machine I’ve become accustomed to over many years and make a change to a brand with a rich history in off-road motorcycle racing and riding - Kawasaki.
1972 Trailhopper Restoration
Where did this bike come from and why did I decide to put my time, energy and money into a bike that was only produced for three years in the early seventies? It comes down to sentimental value.
Oregon Coast Film
Not all adventures need a thousand word essay to tell the story. For this journal post, we are focusing on the visual.
Riding through the pain // Desert 100 throwback
The annual Desert 100 motorcycle race, held in Odessa, Washington, has become a yearly highlight for myself and thousands of other racers of all levels.
Interview // Ghoulie the BTR dog
Ghoulie sat on his first motorcycle at just eight weeks old, feeling an instant connection, and has been the BTR spokes-dog ever since. With a love of adventure and all things outdoors, Ghoulie is an essential member of the BTR Team.
Pushing a DRZ400 to the Finish

Arizona Endurocross Crash Pt. 2

Arizona Endurocross Crash Pt. 1
AMA Endurocross racing is not for the faint of heart, and competing in an entire season requires a level of commitment that needs to be well thought out.
Squealin' Pig Hare Scrambles
An hour before the start of the 25th annual Squealin’ Pig Hare Scramble, held in honour of Rob Hett since his passing in 2014. The conditions are pristine, the sun is out, bike set up is perfect and everything is falling into place.
Stumpjumpers Desert 100
Two days before the biggest desert race in America, the Stumpjumpers Desert 100, which draws thousands of participants from multiple countries and skill levels to test themselves throughout 100 miles of rough terrain.
On Any Sunday Viewing
On March 11, 2018, we were part of four groups that brought On Any Sunday back to the big screen at our local cinema. We all came together, rented the theatre for the evening, loaded it full of vintage and custom bikes for attendees to drool over and put the word out to our local riders. The take over of our local cinema was under way!
Piston Run Cross Country
I woke up at six a.m. in the Chilliwack mall parking lot. After vigorously rubbing my eyes open, I turn the key to start my big red van, and the diesel motor rumbles to life. Ozzy Osbourne’s “Over the Mountain” comes from the door speakers, with the distinctive shutter the blown passenger side has had for the last two years.
